![]() Go to the Installed Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Files. Right click on GTA 5 and select Properties. especially c / program files or program files x86 and admin/access/permissions. Open your game launcher and go to your GTA 5 game library. It 'should' work - it works fine for many.Įdit - per your 'fix' - depending on the location you were using. Back when it came out - support would even close your ticket/give resistance if you were on win10 for a bit til they finally updated the page to 'support' it. There is likely more but I quit bothering to keep up much with all the 'new' causes for issues with the game/launcher/etc - especially on win11.Īnd no - it does not say windows 11 on the store page. Can't really run it without the launcher - unless you want to lock yourself to storymode/offline only and then the intermittent drm is gonna bite you unless you jump through other 'hoops' that may/may not work for you.Įdit - *of course, there is also potential with windows defender, controlled folder access, onedrive, using whitelist/exclusion on r* launcher/social club/gta5 folder, k/n windows missing media feature pack/etc. Any other problems there - like having to push 'play' to advance (or not waiting), could be other issues like vcredists, os problems, again - admin, cfa, av/sec, etc. When hitting play - it should open the launcher enough, to pass through to social club, and start the game. Likely some problem with lack of admin on R* launcher, gta5.exe, or even steam (or, already has them set as admin, and it needs to be removed - will need to test). ![]()
